TOP MAOIST LEADER GIRISH ARRESTED BY ODISHA POLICE 24/01/2012

Maoist leader Girish, who was involved in several crimes including murder, was arrested by the Odisha police on Tuesday from Bargarh district.
Dhiren Mahanto alias Girish, second in command in CPI (Maoist) Odisha state Committee, had escaped from Chaibasa Jail in Jharkhand last year, was nabbed by a special district police team at Kharamunda, said Superintendent of Police, Bargarh Kabita Jena.
As per sources, a loaded revolver, 12 live cartridges, cash, one compass and map of Odisha and Bargarh were seized by the Police.
