After long years the insufficient energy state Odisha will be known as surplus e electricity state very soon said union energy minister Susil kumar Sindhe. Presiding the Foundation stone ceremony of powergrid 765/400 kv substation at Phulapada village 10 km from Angul HQ.

Power grid corporation of India will now establish a high level pooling substation 765/400kv at Phulapada, Angul. Where 2100 core will investment for this substation. As many public and private energy industries already set-up in Angul .where 10000 mw energy will get and it will equally distribute through this substation to whole Odisha and other state said union minister Mr. Sindhe.

"3 ultra mega power project will establish in Odisha very soon, where Odisha will get 50 percentage energy , which will must help the Odisha from insufficient electricity" added union minister Susil Sindhe.

This pooling project will establish within 300 acres and capacity will take 6000 MVA. And it is the first 765 kv substation in Odisha , which will transmit the power to northern and western region.

Union energy Secretary P.Umashankar, State energy secretary G.Mathivatan, Dhenkanal MP Tathagat Sathpathy , Local MLA Rajani kanta Sing and odisha energy minister A.S.Nayak were present in this foundation ceremony.Mr.R. Nayak MD Powergrid corporation was also present in this ceremony .
