ODISHA NEWS/BHUBANESWAR:
After Raigrah district, another Maoist infested district Koraput in Odisha bans entry of foreign nationals for indefinite period for security reasons. District collector Sachin Jadhav has communicated this through a letter sent to all tour operators.
In a letter to all the tour operators, the district administration has made it clear that no permission will be issued to foreign nationals and tourists to visit any part of the district till the officials decides on the matter.
The district administration needs to reassess the security situation and that it will take a call on this issue of regulating the movement of foreign nationals and tourists in the district either way, the letter stated.
Last week, the Rayagada district administration had imposed similar restrictions on the entry of all foreign tourists into the tribal-dominated district.
