CHINMAYA SAHU BAGS FOR BHASKAR YOUTH ICON AWARD 2011 05/03/2012

The Odisha Bhaskar Youth Icon Award 2011 award ceremony organised by a leading Odia Daily “Odisha Bhaskar” was held at Janata Maidan on Sunday.
His Excellency Sj M.C. Bhandare, Hon’ble Governor of Odisha graced the occasion as the chief guest and gave away the Youth Icon Award-2011 to Chinmaya Sahu, President of Odisha Pradesh Student Congress.


The award included a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
Amongst others, Ranjit Mohapatra President, Student BJD and Nishikant Mishra, Advocate and Social Activist were given the runners-up prizes.
The fun-filled programme had performances by popular Bollywood Singer Mika Singh, actress Sayali Bhagat and Noted Stand up comedian, Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar (V.I.P) enthralled the audience.


While Mika’s popular Hindi and Punjabi songs entertained the audience, the dance performance by Sayali forced the audience to tap their feet kept the people in high spirits.


The sound of laughter resonated at the venue as VIP came up with humour punches.
Among others Pradosh Pattnaik, Chief Editor of Odisha Bhaskar, Shri Madhu Mohanty of Odisha Bhaskar were present.
